Field-based leadership development.

The EA seminar is a five week field-based leadership development program. We believe that leaders, as well as their organizations, benefit from more immersion— via participant observation— in the daily activities of employees and customers.

Less formal interaction. Fewer meetings. More informal, everyday mentoring. Participant Observation Leadership (POL). ‘Networks of competence’ vs. ‘hierarchies of authority’ (Steve Denning).

Learn anthropological practices that will help boost curiosity, empathy, trust, and innovation.

THE PROGRAM

What we cover.

Risk Management

Defining problems, making choices, assessing risk. These are all influenced by culture, and what is considered ‘common sense’ in your organization. Move past conventional mindsets and embrace a divergent mentality— where opportunities abound.

  • Seeking out paradoxes

  • Cultural intelligence (CQ)
